Students are encouraged to find inspiration for their entries from the collections at local public and private galleries, from our parks, gardens, conservation areas, and our abundant waterfront vistas. Talk to your neighbours, family; explore our rich and vibrant history and choose a moment that celebrates your neighbourhood.
Join us for a fun-filled session of traditional Psyanky egg decoration this coming Saturday, featuring the talented Caroline Berube. We will learn ‘wax resist’ technique to create unique works of Eggs-ellent art that are sure to impress family and friends!

Bob Gorinac, piano
Bob Gorinac made his first public appearance at age 11, and he has been entertaining audiences ever since. Well-known in the Pt. Huron area, Bob has captivated jazz lovers across the country with his artistry and vast repertoire. His program will highlight his multifaceted piano style by weaving a variety of melodies together in an improvisational mode. Bob's spontaneous jazz versatility and his pure imagination will illuminate the path on this creative musical journey.
Tickets are available for $10 at the Lawrence House Centre for the Arts or at the door.

It’s A Great Day For The Irish
The delightful Irish Dance duo, Kieran and Dympna DeVoy will keep your hands clapping and your feet stomping in this stellar performance. Kieran, straight from his Asian tour with “Magic of the Dance”, Sarnia’s Sweetheart Dympna, and the adorable students from “The Sarnia School of Irish Dance” will perform. Door prizes from local sponsors will be raffled off. As well as Celtic music and dancers, Paddy Flaherty’s will provide snacks. Come out for a night of Celtic celebration with this family friendly event!
Renowned printmaker Wolf Mendritzki leads this series of printmaking classes at the Lawrence House.
Collographs use a variety of found materials and textures to create matte board plates, printed in the intaglio method Prints may include monoprints and intaglio sections as well. Come to our beatiful printmaking studio and experiment with different textures and ideas.
Materials will be provided for the first class, then the following weeks can be purchaced on site for a small fee.
This is a wonderful class for both beginners and advanced students that want to develop their drawing technique.This will be a group class with one on one instruction with Marion as a focus and feature of these six classes.
Dates are each Monday in the Turret Room starting Feb. 23rd from 10:30-12:30.
