| Summer Camps 2010 |

Our Summer Arts Camp are for children ages 6-12 with each week having a different theme, as outlined below. The day starts at 9:00 am (sorry no provision for early drop off or late pick-up). Parents are to provide lunch and 2 snacks for morning and afternoon break. There is a maximum capacity of fifteen children so book early to be assured of a spot! The cost of the camp is $145.00 per week or $35.00 per day, with preference given to those booking for a week.
Arts Educators are Hazel Rogers and Katie Percival. Tell me a Story - July 5th-9th The Lawrence House will start off its summer art program with our popular week of artwork based on favourite chidren's stories. The selected stories will be different from past years and will include such classics as Peter Pan and Puss & Boots.
Myths and Mystery - July 12th-16th This week is devoted to discovery of such fascinating creatures as the unicorn and sasquatch and exploring mysteries like the sunken city of Atlantis and the lost empire of the Mayans.
Swish, Daub & Dab - July 19th-23rd Be ready to dive into a week of fun materials, new techniques and art ranging from traditional realism to contemporary abstract.
Things That Fly - July 26th-30th From man made to creatures from nature, everything we create will have wings of some sort or another. The sky's the limit!
Movie Time - August 9th-13th We'll be inspired by current and classic favourites from the movies. Our features will be different than those selected in last year's popular "Let's go to the movies!" Olympic Art - August 16th-20th This year's Olympics in Vancouver have inspired our final week. Both winter and summer sports will be the subject of our paintings, prints and sculpture.
