Walter F. Petryschuk, B.A.Sc. (H), M.Eng, Ph.D.
My wife, Mary, and I originate from Essex Country and have raised four sons to adulthood and now our immediate family is comprised of an additional three daughters-in-law and six grandchildren. They reside in the Georgetown area, Brantford and one son lives in Vancouver. Thirty yeas of managing human resources offered the opportunities to implement participatory management methods and practices, to provide, environments for staff to excel based on innate talents and skills to create success. The technological base and early development of farming and engineering experiences provided a foundation for analyzing multi-varible systems and modeling the industrial, economic, and social environments in which our society exists. Being raised in two cultures (Ukrainian and Anglo-Saxon) along with international exposure through work and travel has provided a perspective that is broad, tolerant and understanding the many forces at play in our society.

Susan Wright
Susan has resided in Sarnia Lambton all of her life and currently lives with her husband, Bill, in Wyoming. Having retired as the Executive Director of Senior VIP Community Support Services in July 2006, Susan finds that she has more time to give to volunteering and to the Lawrence House Centre for the Arts Board of Directors.
Susan uses her spare time to paint in acrylics and watercolour, and has some of her original pieces at the Sarnia Lambton Arts Council Gift Shop at the Lawrence where she volunteers on a regular basis.
Having sat on numerous Boards and Committees throughout her career, Susan is interested in continuing to give to her community through her work on the Lawrence House Board of Directors. Susan has always had a real love for the Lawrence House and plans to help in its growth and prosperity.

Malcolm Heaton
Malcolm Heaton has been affiliated with the Lawrence House Centre for the Arts since 2005. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 2005 and has served terms as its Secretary, Treasurer and most recently, Chairperson. Presently Malcolm is an Advisor to the Board with prime accountability for completing the LHCA Operating Discipline and Strategic Plans. Malcolm is a retiree from Dow Chemical having worked in Project Management, Cost Engineering and Site Infrastructure with prime emphasis on contractor safety, site environmental and demolition issues and implementation of global best practices. Malcolm is well known throughout the music community as a tenor soloist, chorister, composer and some might say his artistic appreciation for visual arts especially photography and his attempts of putting oil and acrylics to canvas. Malcolm has been an active, vibrant voice and supporter of the Lawrence House Centre for the Arts and is extremely proud of this association. Although no longer an elected Board Member, he continues in his new role as an Advisor to the Board in bringing much enthusiasm to the table especially while working with peers, staff and volunteers. This has enabled LHCA staff and volunteers to focus on LHCA growth opportunities while remaining compliant to LHCA mission, vision and to the recently updated strategic plan.
