Award-winning Soprano Abha Dearing and classical guitarist Steven Dearing will fill the Turret Room of the Lawrence House Centre for the Arts with the sound of classical music as they present the first Friday Noon Concert of 2009.

 Having performed throughout the United States and Canada the Dearing Duo have sold out at the Detroit Institute of Arts and other venues, and have played at the Cheltenham Music Festival in England while touring the United Kingdom. 

They have three CD's of  music available, which have earned them a nomination and a win at the Detroit Music Awards. The CD's feature music by Paganini, Molino,  Faure, Ravel, and Bizet, to name a few.

Olga Tcherniak, piano

Olga Tcherniak returns to present yet another sensational concert in the series that she originated and established. Olga is known as a performer, teacher, workshop clinician and vocal coach in the U.S., Canada, Russia and Israel. She has been heard on CBC radio and local radio and television. Olga was awarded the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal for her contribution to the cultural life of Sarnia-Lambton County. After receiving many standing ovations at the Noon Concert Series, Olga will once again fascinate the noonday audience, while introducing a surprise guest artist.

Bob Gorinac made his first public appearance at age 11, and he has been entertaining audiences ever since. Well-known in the Pt. Huron area, Bob has captivated jazz lovers across the country with his artistry and vast repertoire. His program will highlight his multifaceted piano style by weaving a variety of melodies together in an improvisational mode. Bob's spontaneous jazz versatility and his pure imagination will illuminate the path on this creative musical journey.
